Dear Life, I have a wall of 18 drawing and paintings in my studio. I call them Energy Portraits. Yesterday two friends visited and stood in front of the work looking. I wondered, “What do they see or feel?” Today I ask myself the same question. Art is an expression of creativity from a source greater than me. I am but the channel. Each person has a unique experience, as I do, when we look. I don’t really see the work until I’ve stood in front of it a day away from making it. Spirit speaks through me. Human experience speaks to me. It is a curious life, isn’t it?
