Love Letter to Life 07.29.2025 New Mexico

Dear Life, I arrived in New Mexico yesterday afternoon and was greeted with this sky and these mountains. Welcome Home! The precipitation has transformed the high desert landscape. Lush greens, golds, violets, sienna, and reds rise into the luminous sky. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. A thunderstorm cleaned my car, White Angel, as I drove from Las Vegas, NM into Santa Fe, NM. I am home after an epic 8-week, 7000 mile Road Trip. My chest is full of treasures. Thank you.
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Love Letter to Life 07.27.2025 Love Omaha

Dear Life, I love Omaha. And Omaha loves me. Had an excellent day walking through the Farmer’s Market, Bemis Art Center and Open Studios, lunch at Clio’s, and an unexpected experience at The Artist’s Cooperative: I helped an artist place his paintings for an upcoming exhibit. Loved every minute. In the evening, I visited over dinner with awesome Alice, my soul coach and friend. Omaha, I will return. Consider this Love Letter the start of a new love affair!
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Love letter to Life 07.26.2025 Omaha Sunset

Dear Life, I took this sunset photo from the 7th floor window of my hotel in downtown Omaha. Happy to be here and explore the Bemis Art Center Open Studios and city galleries. Will go to the Chihuly Glass Sanctuary, “the cornerstone of the Fred and Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Healing Arts Program; a place of respite and reflection for patients, families and staff.” This evening, have dinner with Alice, my Soul Coach since 2008, and who helps me navigate this wild and wonder-filled life.
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Love letter to Life 07.17.2025 Islands of Joy

Dear Life, My Treasure Trip has taken me on a boat trip with Tracy around the Thimble Islands, Stony Point, Ct to Manhattan, NY for a family “girls day”. We saw the great musical, “Hell’s Kitchen”, by Alicia Keys at the Shubert Theatre. The cast, musicians, and surround-sound of her music were spectacular. Pure joy to do these things. Being here now.
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Prisms of experience

The film made for Nexus Healthcare by Cameron Kit of YOYOS, NYC and team won the Platinum Award for “Best New Mexico Short”. It will be featured at the Albuquerque Film Festival.

It’s an honor to be involved in this project and give hope to the Cancer community. Congratulations to the team!

Love Letter to Life 07.13.2025 My Happy Place

Dear Life, The Lake House in Maine is my happy place. There is peace and beauty, wildlife that doesn’t require loud music and disco balls. I am dating myself! This year was special because my daughter, Tracy, joined me. She loved my friends. We played, walked, talked, ate, repeat. I am one big smile. Yes that is my White Angel in the driveway, but no, I did not steal the Scamper! Until next time… thank you for the treasured memories.
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Love Letter to Life 07.11.2025 Lobsta’ Love

Dear Life, Tracy and I found my new Beloved in Maine where they serve lobster and soft-swirl ice cream cones. I am over the moon in love. Don’t quit before the miracle!

Love Letter to Life 07.08.2025 Route 1 Fun

Dear Life, The Treasure Trip continues. Tracy and I drove north along the Maine coast on Route 1. “Mom, turn the car around. I want to to see Jelly Belly!” A hard brake and pin-turn for our first photo shoot at Wilbur’s Chocolate Factory. We left with Chocolate Blueberries and smiles. Picnic lunch near a marsh, quaint small towns. Made our way through the Orland blueberry barrens to the lake house where Alix and Gary greeted us with open arms. Dinner on the screened-in porch then a few steps to the dock to watch the loons and moonrise. Evening ended playing Rummy 500. I moaned and laughed through a colossal loss. No more groaning. I am a champion of life!
Yours Truly, Pamela Rose

Love Letter to Life 07.08.2025 Golden Portland

Dear Life, The day was filled with beautiful people and places. Walking the Promenade, we met Richard Wilson, a well-known artist and treasure. Delicious baked goods and coffee at The Standard, lovely shops, an art store where, of course, I left with a big brush. Tacos and a siesta, a picnic for dinner at Fort Williams while Marimba music sang out over the ocean. “Golden light” moment at Bug Light, celebrating its 150th Birthday, capped a perfect day.
