Love Letter to Life 08.24.2026 My Heart

Dear Life, My daughter and I had a farewell dinner a week ago. My two weeks in CT went fast and I headed back to Santa Fe. This photo reminds me of the heart shared between mother and daughter, the love of family and friends, and the places we call home. I deeply know that no matter where I am in the world, “home” is in my heart, and there is no measure of miles that separates me from loved-ones. We are one.

Love Letter to Life 08.16.26 Family

Dear Life, I look at all the photos of family and friends in CT and feel joy. There’s been many wonderful gatherings over meals, picnics, going to the beach, theater, museums, visiting studios, music, bike races and playing card games nightly. Laughter with my siblings, their spouses, my daughter, my grandkids, nieces and their husbands and their kids. My heart is full of love and gratitude. And the happiness of winning at cards tonight!

Love Letter to Life 08.06.2026 Home Away From Home

Dear Life, After a day of travel, I arrived in CT. Laughed with my sister and brother-in-law over dinner while telling them adventure stories: falling on the up escalator in Dallas Airport while rushing to make connection (thank you, Angel Chad, who helped me stand up and together), the Rental Car shuttle driving so far through Astoria, Queens, I thought I was getting kidnapped, and then me taking my rental car, ZIA SOUL, through the carwash at the pick-up lot because it had bird poop all over it. A worker ran over and said, “You can’t do that!” Well, I already had and the car was now clean. A necessity. Welcome Home!

Love Letter to Life 06.28.2025 Virtual Reality

Dear Life, Yesterday was a “first”; a Virtual Reality experience watching Violet play in a VR space. She chose a game where she could work at different jobs. Violet is 7 years-old and preparing for her future! Today we are having a birthday party for Max, who is 9, and DJ turning 6. There will be a treasure hunt, games, gifts, great food, cakes, ice cream and lots of NOISE being made by 18 people celebrating at the big outside party! Pray no rain!

Love Letter to Life 6.17.2025 New Hope

Dear Life, On Monday, a visit to New Hope, PN was filled with creative people. Lillo, an extraordinary glass artist and I shared our “thriving” stories. Wonderful shopkeepers in beautiful stores are serving the community with hope. Everyone, when in the East, please stop in New Hope, PN and feel the love! I am now in CT staying with my sister, Arlene, and her husband. The “family treasures” include their daughter’s families with 6 grandchildren all under the age of 9. Ready to play!

Love Letter to Life 05.11.2025 Happy Mother’s Day!

Dear Life, Happy Me! I was reunited with my daughter in 2020 after she was released for adoption in 1968. After 50 years of searching, I put my DNA on Ancestry.com. Tracy found me the on the same day I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma. Mother love surged through me and my life force has defied the odds. I am here, healthy, and celebrating our love. Another gift: my mother got to meet Tracy and have a relationship before Mom died in Aug 2024. To all mother’s and families, miracles happen. Keep the faith and love one another. Feeling lucky!
Your’s Truly, Pamela Rose
