Symphonic Poems Energy … Catch the Enthusiasm!

I took a Symphonic Poem print to the framer today.
What a terrific response Keith Wilkinson had to the work and the music.
Symphonic Poems Project is slowly and carefully finding it’s way into the world.
Thank you for the positive lift to the next step.
Virginia Dwan added this piece to her collection.
Highly recommend Wilkinson and Company Framers.

Mindful Memories

“There are people whom one loves and appreciates immediately and forever.
Even to know they are alive in the world is quite enough.” Nancy Spain
I feel this way about people…  art I have seen,  a blossom in a garden,  a pattern of snow across the windshield, a shaft of light creating a prism, a wild fox walking along the back wall.

Instruments of Change

PBS is airing “Instruments of Change“
60 minute documentary highlighting the life and cultural achievements of
The Arts Activist, Ruth Greenfield, of Miami, Florida.
I highly recommend seeing this film,
to appreciate how one person’s passion and commitment can help change and shape
a community for everyone culturally, politically, and academically.
This quote is a paraphrase from the film.
My take away from 60 moments that beautifully and positively inspired me.
“We need to be in our daily lives with unsettling moments of beauty.”

Artist + Romantic =

Julia Cameron said,
” You are a person whose creative work shows sensitivity and imagination,”
And “a soulful and amorous idealist”.
This equals a woman with big seeing eyes and a strong loving heart.
Yesterday as I got out of the car in the driveway.
I saw a tiny blue heather blossom smiling up at me for a garden bed.
I knelt down and touched it.
Thank you earth for a sign of spring.

“… the flow of light, time, place.”

What an abundance of positive feedback today upon the
Facebook announcement of my new web site.
I’m filled with gratitude.
Thank you, Joshua Mann Pailet, for your comment:
“like your style of art, matches your writing,
lots of strokes that simulate and stimulate t
he flow of light, time, place”.
Nice.
