I went into the desert where I cut off all my fingernails and the ends of my hair
I went into the arroyo where I dug my feet and toes far beneath the sand
I lay down in the dry riverbed where I pulled your love over me
A soft warm blanket

Amongst the cottonwoods in the small village of Galisteo, NM
Within the straw bale and clay walls of this property
I lived and worked
I loved and thrived
I experienced the life and death of a marriage.
This Lunar Eclipse leaves behind a story that no longer needs to be told.
With peace I say Good Bye.
This Full Moon lights the way for a new beginning.
