Dear Life, Meet beautiful Lindsay Rose, RN who gave me injections of love and medicine yesterday. I told her my “Miracle Story”: being diagnosed with cancer on Jan 14th, 2000 at 2:00pm and at 10:00pm my birth daughter, Tracy, connecting with me through Ancestry.com after 51 years of separation when she was released for adoption. Game changer that continues to carry me into every hospital, every treatment, every opportunity for healing. I am having a new experience of love and life being cared for by many people and loving them. Rose Miracles!

Dear Life, Cancer does not stop on Sundays so neither does treatment. At noon, I go to the infusion center for injections that stimulate stem cell growth. Next week, there will be a collection of 10,000,000 of my stem cells, put into petrie dishes and made ready for putting back into my body on August 9th.
I visualize millions of strong and healthy stem cells multiplying within me. Please join me. Your energy is felt in my body and Spirit.

Dear Life, My health begins in my Heart where I connect to life through Spirit. May I remember this today while I receive first injection into my body. New meds, new people, new cancer institute, new city. All of this is help me get well. Now get on the elevator (I’m on the 11th floor of hotel) to meet Lisa in the lobby and be on with this day held in love and grace. Thank you.

Dear Life, Jacqueline and I had a good trip to Denver stopping at The Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, NM for yummy breakfast. Four hours later, retail therapy at the Castle Rock Outlet Center, CO. We arrived at our “nest” in Denver tired but happy. Ate dinner in my kitchenette: delicious food from our friend Corey. Today, bloodwork and appointment with Dr. Tees, Stem Cell Team leader/oncologist.
I know this a spiritual medical journey, each moment and step, every meeting and treatment with amazing people, my love-feathered friends!

Dear Life, I woke early, appreciating my bed, pillows, and loft. “Thank You, beautiful and creative space”. Today, I leave for Denver where medical procedures begin tomorrow through September. I pray to have a new experience of life, literally with miracle of new stem cells. I am grateful for the love and support that lifts this vulnerable, resilient body that moves me up the mountain so I can see the heights of healing and radiant health.

Dear Life, My launch to Big Denver is in 24 hours. There is much to do and people to see. I focus on what’s important: people I love and what brings me joy. Dear Life, Today is my sister’s birthday. Two years ago, to celebrate her 60th, we went to Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. We saw great art, ate fabulous food, and danced in discos! Magnificent memories. I am sending all my love and hopes for her new dreams to come true across the miles to NYC where she is celebrating with family and friends.

Dear Life, Stem Cell Specialists will be re-engineering my cells and bringing new life into my body. It’s a Miracle of Science and Faith to go through. This is Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital where I’ll be receiving out and in-patient treatments beginning Friday. Recently, I sat in the lobby, leather chairs journaling, getting familiar with “this will be my healing home” for a couple of months. My peak climb up Mt. Everest, ie Stem Cell Replacement, will happen here, in a private room, designated, “Pamela’s Environment”. I am still packing.

Dear Life, Suitcases are open and getting packed for Denver. Anxiety built up since last week and caused disruptive sleep so I have a new medication. I’m sleeping now and feel better. New Announcement: Upon my return to Santa Fe, I have to move from this loft. More changes ahead. I will need help with moving end of September. Big letting go.
